It is conducted by TPA Ltd on behalf of GeM and validates your manufacturing capability, quality systems, and business credentials. The fee is turnover-tiered — from ~₹872 + GST for small OEMs up to ~₹3,486 + GST (the old ₹11,200 QCI-era figure is obsolete) — the result is valid for 3 years, and failing preparation — not eligibility — is why most applications stall.

TPA assessment fee is turnover-tiered: OEMs pay ~₹872 / ₹1,743 / ₹3,486 + GST (turnover <₹20L / ₹20L–1Cr / >₹1Cr); resellers lower; exemption = ₹0. Fees are paid directly to the assessment agency, not to us.
